CCTV installers are taking IP surveillance more seriously compared to the same time last year according to a poll carried out by Axis Communications.
A total of 35 per cent of those polled at IIPSEC in Coventry in January were CCTV installers as compared with 28 per cent last year.
“Despite this, CCTV installers are now seen as the key group thwarting the market’s progress,” says Axis.
The poll, carried out on 100 randomly selected visitors, concluded that remote monitoring via the internet was the number one reason to embrace IP surveillance.
The event at Stoneleigh Park attracted more than 100 exhibition companies, sponsors and supporters in IP. Attractions included case study presentations, masterclasses, workshop sessions and a conference.
