Inviron is to install mechanical and electrical systems at a new state-of-the-art library commissioned by Southwark Council in east London.
Inviron will install technologies into the new Canada Water Library, including solar collectors to provide supplementary hot water, a system of bore holes and a ground source heat pump to provide heating and cooling to the main Air Handling plant. The firm will also install energy metering to manage the buildings’ energy profile in the long term.
Work begins on site in October 2009 with completion scheduled for December 2010.
