As a CIBSE member based overseas for the last 24 years now, I look forward to receiving my monthly copy of BSJ, and to reading with some envy the strides being taken in building in the UK.
While I find the magazine of great interest it does naturally focus on the UK for most if not all of the material. As I know there are numerous CIBSE Members scattered throughout the world, in particular by direct CIBSE association in Hong Kong and Australia, occasionally I would like to read something that has an international flavour to it.
While I realise that the majority of your readers are based in the UK, do you think that they might find it of interest to hear some of the experiences or project references outside of the UK?
Practising our profession internationally, particularly those in very unregulated and somewhat unrefined markets (such as the ones I seem to work in!), we have experiences good, and bad which sometimes threaten our professional integrity, and that are worth passing on sometimes for the knowledge of those who may follow us into the international arena.

We at BSj are very aware of our overseas readers and have occasionally run articles supplied on projects abroad. We’re always very pleased to receive similar articles for consideration, so if you are based outside the UK and would like to write to us, please feel free to e-mail us at the address below.
