In a move to give installers clear guidance on the challenges of the Euro Standards, Texecom has expanded its technical support services with the appointment of two additional technical support engineers.

The service has also changed location to Texecom's Bridgwater, Somerset R&D offices. It will now be based alongside the department developing state-of-the-art control panels and indicating equipment.

The expansion is in response to the success of Texecom's range of Grade 2 and Grade 3 security systems. The implementation of the latest EN 50131 Security System and Component Standards has created numerous new challenges for security installers, and with increased technical support capacity Texecom can provide clear guidance on all the prevailing issues.

The new positions, based at QSG's Watford, Nottingham and Newcastle offices are said to reflect the company's successful new contract bids awarded and resultant substantial growth in business.
