Somerset-based installer SM Technology has seen a rapid growth in its IP and access control installations since it was accredited as a Network Video Integration Partner by ADI-Gardiner just one year ago.

Now that has been recognised with its NVIP status rising from silver to gold. Launched by Nathan Dervin, MD, and Paul Curran, technical director, in 1997, it is now a national supplier of IP, access and CCTV solutions and has worked closely with ADI-Gardiner since shifting its focus entirely to digital surveillance. "Business has expanded dramatically and we are working with and installing some of the industry's very latest products ..." says Dervin.

Within the NVIP scheme ADI-Gardiner partners installers in choosing and supplying network systems, advises users and recommends installers. It is the first NVIP partner to be promoted to gold accreditation level. Said Ray Ashby, UK integrated systems product manager: "They have increased their technical knowledge to be able to offer an excellent service to their customers, and in our opinion are one of the best in the UK at providing the necessary network video Integration support."
