Home heating for the L of it

The Dimplex DuoHeat radiator provides a solution to reducing carbon emissions in line with the latest changes to Building Regulations Part L.

The Part L revisions put an increased emphasis on controllable, energy efficient heating systems. DuoHeat combines high levels of performance, controllability and a balance of off-peak and direct acting heating to provide improved levels of energy efficiency.

Much of the heater's energy is provided from off-peak electricity, so running costs are low. The DuoHeat can provide up to 10% carbon savings over conventional off-peak heaters; installers and specifiers can thus benefit from all of the traditional advantages of electric heating such as low capital, installation and maintenance costs, with the reassurance that they will not be penalised when considering Part L compliance.
