Panasonic's Authenticam PC web-cam has beaten the competition to win the Innovation Award at the prestigious Business Equipment Excellence Awards.
The BM-ET100 Authenticam is the first to deploy iris recognition technology to deliver an access control solution for business or home PC users.

The Innovation Award is organised by Business Equipment Digest magazine.

Rob Healey, Panasonic's marketing and project manager, said: "I am delighted to accept this award. The Authenticam addresses the core issues of helping an organisation diminish or eliminate the costs of forgotten passwords, as well as safeguarding PC and network access."
