Connectix Cabling Systems has designed an 8u-capacity wall-mountable cabinet.

Designed to be the heart of a small network, the 385 x 275 x 150 mm cabinet holds the core equipment and wiring terminations needed for a state-of-the-art networking system.

A Connectix home satellite, RF TV and FM distribution system can be fitted to the backplate, and a Networx 8 port 10/100 Mbps Ethernet switch can be installed horizontally on the space-saving bracket. This leaves space inside for up to eight 1u panels and 96 ports.

The backplate is mounted to the wall and the cabinet chassis then slides onto it and is secured by four quick-release, quarter-turn fastners. The cabinet front door sits on retractable hinge pins.

Cable entry is possible from the top, bottom or through optional case cut-out plates.
