Sketch of the week: Wildernesse restaurant in Sevenoaks, Kent

This week’s #buildingdoodle sketch is by Diego Calderon of Morris+Company and is of the Wildernesse restaurant in Sevenoaks, Kent. Harriet Saddington, associate at the practice, says: “The restaurant is a pavilion set at the heart of a new retirement community within the Wildernesse Estate. The metal-skinned, timber-vaulted restaurant is a contemporary take on a traditional glasshouse, celebrating the efficiency of modern methods of construction. This sketch view shows the central elevated kitchen, surrounded by a shared dining space filled with light.”
