This week’s #buildingdoodle sketch, by Maurizio Pieroni, is of a 247-apartment scheme above a low-carbon power station
This week’s #buildingdoodle sketch is by Maurizio Pieroni, a design architect in Broadway Malyan’s London studio. He said: “The Power House in Woking is a proposed 247-apartment co-working/co-living scheme above a low-carbon energy centre for Thameswey Group. Our external design approach was to celebrate the industrial aesthetic with detailing repeated throughout the scheme.
“This sketch shows the feature entrance of steel beams with architecturally designed junction details next to the three thermal stores and encased power station flue, which will be accentuated using a bold colour palette.”
