Sketch of the week: Spa facility at a residential resort

This week’s #buildingdoodle sketch is by Alejandro Bermudez Pascual, architect at Gaunt Francis Architects in Cardiff. Alejandro says: “We were working up some ideas for an extension to an existing spa facility at a high-end residential resort with an amazing waterside location. We wanted to reflect the vernacular buildings in the surrounding areas with simple massing and robust, even agricultural, materials but detailed in a sleek and sophisticated way.”
