This week’s #buildingdoodle is by Diego Calderon, director of DF_DC architects and is of a hotel in Mexico. He says: “This is one of the development sketches for the suspended cabins in our mountain hotel above Lake Chapala, Mexico. The prefab timber enclosures are suspended from a rim beam supported on angled masonry piers.”
