Sketch of the week: Forest school, north London

This week’s #buildingdoodle sketch is by Sean Collins, director at Child Graddon Lewis. He says: “This is an initial concept sketch for a forest school in north London. The site offers many challenges, including a steep slope and many mature trees to work around – all of which lead to a complex architectural response. There is a strong focus on ‘education within nature’ and having a close relationship to the landscape is driving the client’s approach to a sustainable and innovative new-build school.”
