IP video surveillance
IndigoVision has launched a range of IP video products supporting the all-new H.264 compression technology.
The 9000 range includes updated versions of products currently available in Indigo’s 8000 range: transmitters, IP domes and networked video recorders.
Control Center has also been updated – enabling users to deploy a complete end-to-end IP video solution based on H.264. The 9000 range offers a reduction of up to 50% in bandwidth and storage requirements from the 8000 range, or significantly higher video quality for the same bandwidth usage.
IndigoVision’s H.264 hardware codec has been custom designed for use in CCTV systems with, for instance, extra compression when there is low activity in the video area. The new 9000 range is fully compatible with current 8000 products, ensuring that any existing IndigoVision installations can be upgraded with products from either range.
