IFSEC, Europe's leading annual security event, has been awarded 'Most Improved Established Exhibition' at the 2006 Event Awards.
The category was open to any business-to-business or consumer exhibition organiser with a show over five years of age, and was judged on the organiser's ability to re-invent the exhibition while continuing to enhance market position via innovative strategies.
IFSEC Event director James Blue said: "This award really recognises the distance IFSEC has come – from a table-top event in the basement of a Park Lane hotel back in 1972, to a 19,000 sq metre exhibition at the NEC, Birmingham."
IFSEC, organised by CMPi, publishers of Security Installer, takes place at the NEC from 21-24 May 2007. Further information is available at www.ifsec.co.uk.
Companies interested in exhibiting should contact Charlie Cracknell on 020 7921 8069 or email ccracknell@cmpi.biz.
• CMPi HAS WON THE LICENCE to run the annual Fire Exhibition and Conference.
The Fire & Rescue Conference & Exhibition will be held alongside IFSEC and International Fire Expo at the NEC Birmingham next year.
Fire & Rescue and IFE will be the largest gathering of the fire profession ever seen in the UK.
