The BSIA-organised conference will feature sessions on CCTV, retail security and partnerships. Chief executive David Dickinson commented: "This year's conference programme will focus on crucial areas of the security industry. The CCTV User Group will join us for the first day, which looks at important developments within the CCTV sector.
"Retail security is a constantly changing environment. Recent developments in retailing and in the criminals' arsenal mean that security professionals, retailers and front line staff need to keep up-to-date to maximise the benefits of security solutions.
"Our partnerships day is a chance to explore opportunities and benefits to be gained from partnership initiatives. We will look to the future and see how this area might develop." The conference will run on the first three days of the four-day exhibition. For the full conference programme visit www.ifsec.co.uk/conference.shtml
Meanwhile, with more than 100 companies from the IP and networks field, Network Advantage will also feature its own dedicated programme of seminars.
Presentations include:
- Context Security on "Control of your complete monitored enterprise"
- WebWayOne on "Using IP networks for intruder alarms"
