It's a nice ideas to boost the pay rate of surveyors so people will be encouraged to study and get professional qualifications ("Associations boost salaries and training to beat surveyor shortage" 12 September, page 10).
I suggest a similar approach to the housing sector, especially those who have a professional qualification with the Chartered Institute of Housing.
