Consultants the Arcus Partnership and Davis Langdon have won roles on a £200m programme of work planned by Liverpool-based client Arena Housing Association

The firms will be working on refurbishments of low and high rise blocks as well as building new elderly village schemes. Arena Housing Association oversees 12,000 houses across the North of England.

Davis Langdon’s Manchester office is working in joint venture with architect Pozzoni Design Group on the programme.

The client picked five contractors for the framework. They are: Cruden Construction, the Casey Group, Bullock Construction, Bramall Construction and Richardson Projects.

A framework is also being put out by a body called Fusion 21, which represents a group of North West-based housing associations. The Kirby-based organisation, which represents association such as the Knowsley Housing Trust and the Riverside Group, is seeking programme and project managers to oversee a four year stock reinvestment programme.
