The Scottish Parliament building is finally open for business. MSPs sat for the first time on 7 September.

The Fraser report, published later in the month, damned the way the building was procured.

But with its crazy curves and angles and the top-notch quality of materials and workmanships, Holyrood can be considered a triumph for UK construction.
