Building has launched its fifth annual survey of BIM usage in the UK construction industry.
Findings from last year’s survey showed that enthusiasm for BIM was on the slide, with many in the industry saying the initiative was overhyped.
Forty per cent said the benefit of using BIM had been exaggerated, an increase from 34% the previous year.
The survey also showed a slight decline in respondents planning to use BIM level 2 on their schemes, falling from 73% to 70% year-on-year.
