5:40PM Project manager to work on major new £185m university scheme

Hill International has won a project management contract to oversee a new £185m university complex called the Ardiya in Kuwait. Hill will work in a joint venture with partner System Development and Project Management on the scheme, whose fee value is expected to be worth around £5m. The client is the Kuwait Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET).

The role of the joint venture will include everything from project controls to advice on procurement, coordinating contractors, establishing jobsite facilities and reviewing bid documents.

"We've had great success delivering these types of multi-faceted building programmes in the past," said Raouf Ghali, president of Hill's project management group. "We have great confidence that our team will be equally successful at the Ardiya campus."
