Hill hires environmental expert

Global construction consulting firm Hill International has hired Dr Kay Halm as vice president of the company’s project management group.

Based at the firm’s Athens office in Greece, Halm will be responsible for Hill’s European environmental schemes.

President of Hill’s project management group Raouf S. Ghali, said: “Hill is seeing an increasing need for management and oversight of environmental projects throughout Europe. Dr Halm has broad experience and expertise in this area and his leadership will be a tremendous asset to our operations.”

With a doctorate in geosciences, Halm has over 20 years experience in the environmental field having worked on often complex schemes, sometimes under difficult social and political conditions in over 30 countries throughout Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America.
