Rolls-Royce Motor Cars at Goodwood, West Sussex will be getting extra performance thanks to a new cabling system.
A 800 MHz bandwidth infrastructure from Datwyler Cables + Systems has been installed at the manufacturing plant. The system comprises Category 7 cable and Category 6 shielded, connecting hardware components from Datwyler’s Unilan portfolio.

The system was designed and specified by the client’s project team to be capable of supporting current and future applications. This made the 800 MHz rating necessary, as upgrading to full Class F capability will simply require changing of the connecting hardware.

The system was installed by ECA member firm Lee Beesley of Birmingham, to a tight schedule and in co-operation with other trade schedules.
