The main problem faced by all users and stockists of long materials is the necessity for loading gaps and often specialised loading equipment. Hegla has addressed these problems in three ways. Firstly by utilising a mobile racking system the products can be stored compactly with the need for only one loading gap. This gap can be opened anywhere in the storage system allowing the use of a side loading forklift access to the stored items. Secondly by using a ‘drawer’ system the relevant storage unit can be pulled clear of the main storage area allowing easy access with a standard forklift.
Finally Hegla can provide an automated system, where an automatic gantry will load and unload a storage system. Delivering product on demand and automatically restocking empty positions.
All of these systems can be tailored to exact customer requirements in order to provide a very space efficient storage solution.
