Eco Heat Pumps has designed a range of heavy duty units for commercial and public sector applications.

The Thermia Robust series is designed to meet duties from 13 to 45 kW, with the range divided into two temperature output bands – 65°C for units rated between 13-26 kW and 55°C for units up to 45 kW.

Robust units have a potential energy exchange of better than 1:5.

The units can be installed in multiples and are suitable for most light commercial requirements, such as schools and community centres.

Control options are sophisticated, making it possible to set up cascade arrangements. These automatically modulate the number of units in action and the amount of energy drawn from beneath the ground according to factors such as occupancy levels.

Robust heat pumps contain scroll-type compressors. No inlet or outlet valves are used, which results in greater efficiency and low noise levels.

All heat pump models also feature weather compensation control.
