Heart transplant: A planning application has been submitted for this development in the Barton Hill New Deal for Communities area of Bristol.

The NDC, called Community at Heart, helped fund the £4.5m, 42-home development, along with Sovereign Housing Association and Solon South West Housing Association.

The project is the first stage of a 160-home development masterplanned by architect Levitt Bernstein.

The homes will be mainly for rent, but will include flats for shared ownership and key workers.
