The Hearst Tower, New York’s first green commercial building, was topped out last month. Designed by Foster and Partners with m&e design by Flack & Kurtz, the building is expected to receive a Gold LEED rating – the top US environmental award – for having an energy consumption 22% less than a typical New York building.
