Davis Langdon is celebrating a slew of new project wins, including the largest PFI hospital development programme outside London, the Pathway scheme in Leicestershire.
The firm’s Milton Keynes office will act as cost consultant on the £761m redevelopment of the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust, which is being built by contractor Laing O’Rourke. Another cost consulting role has been scored on the outline business case option appraisal for the £500m Royal Liverpool University Hospital. Health sector specialists will work on the project, which includes a complete rebuild designed by architect Nightingale Associates.
Meanwhile, the Cambridge office has been chosen to provide cost and facilities management services for the redevelopment of Southend Hospital. The £100m PFI scheme aims to improve the hospital’s ability to deliver high dependency and elective emergency care services.
In Scotland, Davis Langdon has been appointed by Sanctuary Housing as preferred bidder on the “RE:LOCATE” project for Queen Margaret University College in Edinburgh. The Scotland team will provide whole life costs, capital costs and bid management.
Davis Langdon is holding a workshop on Challenges to Building in all Historic Environments on 10 May at the Lowry Hotel, Manchester.
