Following its successful launch at the May 2006 event, the Security Guarding Village returns to IFSEC when the hugely popular and well-attended exhibition runs at Birmingham’s NEC from 21-24 May next year.

THE SECURITY GUARDING AND SUPPORT SERVICES Village at IFSEC 2007 is designed to represent the full range of people-based security and training solutions, including front-of-house, patrolling, electronic security, remote monitoring, covert and specialist services. The Village is supported by the British Security Industry Association, The Security Institute, ASIS International’s UK Chapter 208 and Skills for Security.

James Blue, IFSEC’s event director, comments: “The addition of ‘Support Services’ embraces the myriad solutions provided by and for the security guarding sector. Clients want an integrated service combining manpower and electronic security expertise, and thus the guarding contractors are having to broaden their remit. We intend to reflect this trend at IFSEC.”

G4S Security Services (UK), VSG, Wilson James, Nationwide Security Services, Northern Security, Innovise and the AFC Group have already confirmed their attendance. Visit www.ifsec.co.uk for details.
