THE SECURITY WATCHDOG HAS unveiled full details of its forthcoming seminar ‘The Coming of Age of Contract Manned Guarding’, which takes place at Farnham Castle in Surrey on Thursday 30 October.

The one-day seminar, now a yearly event for The Watchdog, is designed as a networking forum that attracts 150-200 key stakeholders from the client and contractor sides of the industry.

Keynote speakers include Security Industry Authority chief executive John Saunders and Stuart Lowden – director of Wilson James’ security division and the subject of this month’s Profile (‘Lowden clear’, pp16-20).

Lowden and Johnson Controls’ Mike Britnell are set to outline an exciting new initiative driven by The Security Institute – a comprehensive end user guide to the correct procurement and operation of contract manned security services.
