Mid Glamorgan trade fabricator Griffin Windows has recently obtained Secured by Design status on its PVC-U windows and doors.

Secured by Design, the UK police flagship initiative supporting the principles of ‘designing out crime', is a well respected industry standard and supports the high product quality that Griffin Windows continuously offers.

Commenting on attaining the certification, Mike Dunlevy, Managing Director of Griffin Windows said: ‘We are delighted to have achieved Secured by Design status on our windows and doors. Secured by Design is often the industry flagship to demonstrate product quality and offers increased benefits to our installing customers.

‘Recent research published by the police department has shown that Secured by Design can reduce burglary by up to 50% which is very encouraging news to pass onto the consumer to give them the increased reassurance they require.'
