Tansun’s new IPX5-rated 3 kW outdoor heater proves a real winner.

July’s smoking ban is set to provide opportunities to pick up extra business installing heating and lighting in newly-created outside smoking areas. To this end, Tansun has launched its new IPX5-rated, 3 kW heater, which can heat an area up to 16 m2.

The Bermuda provides instant heat at the flick of a switch, so there is no need to turn up the temperature until users are feeling the chill. Installation takes no more than a couple of hours, and running costs are typically nine pence per kilowatt hour.

The addition of Tansun’s variable quartz heating control systems, which use a remote control handset to vary heat output between 30% and 100% as the ambient temperature varies, can save the customer even more.

This latest product joins Tansun’s extensive range of cost-effective, all-weather rated products, including the market leading Algarve, available as an IP 54-rated 1.3 kW model and as an IP 24-rated 2 kW model, and capable of heating an area up to 14m2.
