Bamboo extract (Sasa) is used to deactivate germs in Toshiba Air Conditioning’s latest high wall indoor units, which have six-stage air filtration.

The filters also use a zeolite, which traps particles and removes chemical pollutants, and the antioxidant vitamin C.

The process begins with a pre-filter that traps large particles and dust. Further trapping takes place at the next stage to ensure airborne viruses and bacteria are held.

The variable and fixed speed high wall units can be used as part of single split systems or in multi-split applications.
