Clivet has launched the Spin Chiller WSAT XSC range with cooling outputs from 157 kW to 510 kW.
In traditional chillers operating at part load, the efficiency is often reduced. This chiller capitalises on the increased heat exchanger’s surface area at part loads to ensure a higher energy efficiency rating and European seasonal energy efficiency ratios.
The compressors are controlled through algorithms that are designed with both efficiency and reliability in mind. By employing batteries of smaller compressors, the control system optimises the compressor starting and shutdown to more closely meet the load requirements.
An additional benefit is reduced wear on the compressors through a self-adaptive control system, whose algorithms minimise the number of compressor starts and balance the number of starts per compressor for prolonged service life.
