I am writing in response to my “fan-mail” (BSj, 02/07). As has been said, “repeat a lie often enough and the people will believe it”. So it is with global warming and, for that matter, overpopulation. The world population density is 48 people per square kilometre. I should think there’s room for more of Mother Earth’s finest resources – her human inhabitants.

With regard to climate change, the fact is that nature rarely, if ever, follows a straight path. The great global warming scam is but an excuse to rip us all off with more and more so-called green taxes.
