QS to work on five-year development programme for education client

Gleeds has been appointed QS as part of a framework agreement with client Bournemouth University. The agreement will see Gleeds’ Winchester office oversee the full capital expenditure during the five-year term of the framework. Since starting the framework earlier this year, Gleeds is involved in four current projects, ranging from £500,000 to £1.6m.

The current university projects include:

  • Royal London House - refurbishment of four floors of office and administration facilities
  • Poole House - refurbishment of the ground and first floor lecture theatres, seminar rooms and administration space
  • Studland House - New glazed curtain walling and recladding of the entire building envelope and incorporating new natural ventilation
