The annual Glassman’s Lunch was held on December 3rd at a popular City drinking den. This year the traditional all-stag event, organsed by Rankin’s, was this time rivalled in numbers by another gathering: Women in Glass, or WIGs. John Storey of Polton Glass in Middlesborough, a friend of Cliff’s for over 30 years, was the winner in a charity auction of Cliff’s tie, which fetched £200.
