Two of the consulting engineering profession’s rising international stars – Philip Wilson and Gennady Vasilchenko-Malishev – have formed their own consultancy to specialise in the design of glass and artistic structures. From their new office in London, Malishev Wilson Engineers will offer creative structural design services both in the UK and abroad. In Russia and Japan, the new practice will focus on business-to-business consultancy.

Malishev Wilson’s expertise extends to glass structures, from concept to detailed design; structural glass façades; visually exposed artistic structures, including sculptures; challenging domestic properties – refurbishments and new-build glass extensions.

Malishev Wilson will be offering clients a number of value-added services. ‘As well as design consultancy in Russia and Japan, we will produce high quality technical translations of design drawings, calculations and specifications in the English, French and Russian languages,’ says Gennady. ‘We can also deliver specialist marketing services to engineering design businesses who need them.’

Philip Wilson BSc, MSc, DIC, is one of Europe’s top experts in the structural use of glass. For eight years, until the recent formation of Malishev Wilson Engineers, he worked as a senior structural engineer for consultants Dewhurst Macfarlane and Partners. www.malishevwilson.com
