Armstrong Holden Brooke Pullen has launched the GLA glycol auto-fill units.
The GLA houses all the components needed for water/glycol make-up in a single enclosed unit. It has a 200 litre storage capacity and mixing tank, and offers far greater make-up accuracy than traditional manual mixing. The agitation of the glycol/water mixture is powered automatically to ensure uniform density of system make-up at all times, so a positive system operating pressure is automatically maintained. The unit has a comprehensive BMS interface for remote condition monitoring. As the GLA unit is self-contained, the components are protected from external atmospheric conditions and the unit can be installed anywhere within the building.
