Tired of repeated noise, disturbances, vandalism and theft from its church, the parish committee of Borley, Essex has commissioned a state-of-the-art digital cctv surveillance system from Honeywell Security.
The system will protect the church and graveyard from its spooky reputation that attracts a string of unwelcome human visitors searching for paranormal activity. The cctv technology installed by Bradling Security is intended to deter thrill-seekers and collect evidence of vandals.
The £9000 surveillance system includes interior cameras, motion detectors, a day/night, colour/mono Pecan Bullet camera with infra-red lamps and additional wireless passive infra-red detectors. With all this high-tech gadgetry it may not be long before we see the ethereal visitors as well as the human interlopers.
