Working closely with architects Above and Beyond Ltd of Huddersfield, Geze UK supplied a wide range of stylish yet functional and reliable products for the Sheffield interchange, which handles more than 2,500 buses and 31,000 passengers every day,

Geze installed and commissioned a range of DDA compliant Slimdrive SL automatic door drive systems which features an overall height of just 7cm. That allowed the products to be fitted elegantly and discretely into the entrances of the Interchange.

Meanwhile, students at perhaps the world’s most famous university can now enter lectures in style. Geze recently supplied an impressive entrance system to the University of Oxford’s Chemical Research Building.

Geze specified a 360° glass vestibule which forms a completely enclosed lobby to the building, creating a reliable and welcoming portal in keeping with the high-tech nature of the work undertaken within the centre.

Geze’s sales and marketing director, Paul Gerrard, says of the project: ‘This project demanded high specifications of functionality with a visual impact to match. We were delighted to be able to provide the stunning circular glass portal for the building which creates a practical entrance system whilst also benefiting from outstanding aesthetics.

‘Geze handles many projects all over the world in a range of different settings and this installation is yet another example of the outstanding flexibility and quality we are able to offer our customers’, he added.
