As one of the early adopters of In Business for Neighbourhoods and the fourth-largest social housing and regeneration agency in the UK, it was with some surprise that I read your review of the initiative to date.

At Riverside, we see In Business as intrinsic to all aspects of our work. Far from being a mere rebranding exercise, we have found funders, the media and our tenants have all welcomed the drive to demystify and promote the sector.

However well an individual association promotes its successes and communicates with its customers, that will be insufficient if there is little overall understanding in the wider public of the role that associations play in creating lasting local success.

The In Business campaign is changing reality as well as perception, and becoming an important social and business focus for the future of the sector.
