The Gardiner Group and US-based CoVi Technologies – a developer of High Definition-based CCTV solutions – have entered an agreement aimed at bringing a new generation of high quality video surveillance products and services to European customers.
Gardiner Group purchasing and marketing director Colin Kramer said the new products which will be available through the agreement are "well suited for a wide range of environments, from traditional analogue installations to state of the art digital and IP networks".
"CoVi is at the forefront of Megapixel camera technology and HD video image processing and recording, which ensures CoVi products deliver image quality not matched by existing cameras," Kramer said. "Key customer benefits are expanded coverage, even with a reduced number of cameras, and dramatic increases in monitoring efficiency and effectiveness."
The first product offering from the partnership is the EVQ-1000 MultiView HD video surveillance camera, which Gardiner says provides "substantially improved image clarity and that makes positive identification and detailed transaction capture possible."
* SkyNet Systems, the Oxford-based Cisco Silver Partner network solutions provider, has achieved Gardiner security Network Video Integration Partner (NVIP) status.
SkyNet Systems' NVIP status further develops its position in VLANs and wireless technologies, router and firewall issues, and gives it access to sales, marketing and technical support across the full Gardiner Security portfolio.
* Dedicated Micros has announced that all CCTV equipment produced by its subsidiary Dennard will now be promoted under the DM banner. To promote the change UK installers are being offered 'Easy Cash Back', with £25 back on each 2040 or 2060 dome, DV-IP Server/Decoder product and DS2/BX2 DVR purchased.
