Denis Lillie has been appointed construction project director for the 2010 World Cup finals, to be held in South Africa. A former director of Hyder Consulting, he will be employed by the government of the Western Cape, where he runs his own consultancy, DLP Advisory and Management Services.
Scottish group Robertson has appointed Angus MacInnes as managing director of its construction arm, which includes five regional businesses. MacInnes previously worked for contractors Carillion and Skanska.
Architects
Architect firm, Pick Everard has appointed three directors: Andrew Almond, Alistair Hamilton and David Nisbet.
Architecture and planning consultancy, Llewelyn Davies Yaang has appointed Charles Strokes as senior architect in its Belfast office. Strokes practiced as an architect for six years in London before relocating to Belfast in 2001.
Graham Legerton, Roger Matthews, Richard McCarthy and Ian Whitfield have been promoted to architectural directors at Scott Brownrigg.
Contractors
John Ridings has joined NG Bailey, the Yorkshire-based M&E contractor, as a non-executive director. He has spent 36 years working at KPMG.
