Seaward Electronic has introduced a new entry-level software package for the recording of electrical portable appliance tests undertaken in the workplace.

PATGuard Lite is a simple program for the downloading of electrical safety testing results for workplace electrical equipment.

It has been specifically designed for use by those who carry out basic electrical service testing and maintain their own records, but require only basic test data to be retained.

Once electrical testing of equipment has been carried out, the direct transmission or manual input of results from the PAT tester via the PATGuard Work About program enables a test record database to be established.

The software uses Windows-based management information systems enabling ease of use with the minimum of training.

PATGuard Lite also provides fast access to supporting documentation. Test certificates can be printed off directly or Acrobat reports can be produced for non-program users.
