Zinc-look aluminium

Based on its Ziplok standing-seam system, but with a flat pan to the profile, Tradzinc is an aluminium profile that is designed to provide a traditional zinc appearance. Tradzinc’s surface treatment emulates natural zinc during the weathering process. It is available in two finishes – plain mill and weathered – to suit different applications. Plain mill has the appearance of prepatinated zinc during its first year, while the weathered finish looks like zinc after several years. The company says the profile is lighter and more cost-effective than using zinc, yet has an equivalent lifespan. Tradzinc lends itself to integration into existing buildings or more traditional construction, and can be curved or tapered, to achieve the exacting design criteria.
