More than £15bn worth of work has been dished out

At least £15bn of work across and more than 35 contracts have already been handed to construction firms by HS2

Among the firms to already have been handed work on the project are contractors including Balfour Beatty, Mace, Vinci and Skanska, as well as consultants Lendlease, Mott MacDonald and CH2M.
