Reinforced bitumen system
More than 7,200m2 of Bauder’s reinforced bitumen system, Bauder Total Roof System, has been used to repair the failing roofs at Airedale Academy in Castleford. The project was challenging as the roof had more than 20 separate roof areas. The system build-up included Bauder’s PIR Insulation with the required levels of thermal performance and tapered insulation to create drainage falls without having to incorporate them into the structure. As part of the works, 20 new Bauder rooflights were also fitted.
