Geocel has added a waterproofing protection compound to its Geochem range of building chemicals.
The company claims that its new acrylic roofing compound offers instant waterproofing on application and can be used in damp and wet conditions on most common roof types.
It is suitable for the immediate emergency repair and the general maintenance of most conventional types of roof. A synthetic fibre reinforcement provides a flexible seamless coating and fills cracks to give good protection. The grey compound does not need mixing, can be brushed on and requires no primer on sound, non-porous substrates. It can be used on concrete, fibre/cement, roofing felt, mastic, asphalt, existing bituminous roof coatings, guttering (plastic and metal), down pipes, gulleys, flashings, vents, lead work, rigid PVC, corrugated iron, metals, slates, brickwork, tiles, lead, copper and zinc.
