Forticrete launches dry fix verge sytem for edges

Architectural masonry specialist Forticrete has launched a dry fix verge system for the edges of tiled roofs. The system is designed to complement Forticrete’s Minislate and EcoPlus Gemini twin interlocking plain tiles. The company says the system is maintenance-free as it does away with the need for mortar bedding.

Weathering can cause the mortar to fail and the verge tiles to become loose, which is not only a health and safety risk but is expensive to fix, as it requires scaffolding. The product also eliminates the need for standard verge metal clips.
